Dan Delurey, President

Dan has over 30 years of experience in marketing, management, communications, and government relations. He has been a senior executive in both the utility and high-technology sectors.

He founded Wedgemere Group in 2001 to create a small firm that could allow him to use his expertise and experience to help meet the needs of the emerging business and policy areas created by the modernization of the electricity industry.

Dan is well known for his ability to form and manage groups of parties with similar goals, but different perspectives, and produce results that meet the needs of everyone involved.

He is also known for his unique style of meeting facilitation, which is based on a combination of in-depth understanding of issues and substance, along with a flair for creating an entertaining and participatory event.

Dan has been an invited speaker at the White House, testified before Congress and various federal and state agencies, and delivered speeches and made presentations at numerous conference and events.

He has been the subject of a feature interview by All Things Considered host Robert Siegel on NPR, and frequently is a source to media outlets.

He also has been a resource to Congress, the Executive Branch, and state policy officials through his formal appearances as a hearing witness, and through his informal advisory role in major policy developments such as EPACT, EISA, and ARRA.
