Dan has been an invited speaker at the White House, testified before Congress and various federal and state agencies, and delivered speeches and made presentations at numerous conference and events.
He has been the subject of a feature interview by All Things Considered host Robert Siegel on NPR, and frequently is a source to media outlets.
He also has been a resource to Congress, the Executive Branch, and state policy officials through his formal appearances as a hearing witness, and through his informal advisory role in major policy developments such as EPACT, EISA, and ARRA.
